  1. Was the class inspired? How could you have been more inspirational?
  2. Eye Contact
  3. Nervousness
  4. Audience Feedback
  5. Preparation--did you practice enough? Too much?
  6. Speaking rate (too fast? too slow? too many pauses?)
  7. Gestures (Did you do any?)
  8. Poise and Presence
  9. Organization
  10. Facial Expressions
  11. Dressed and Groomed?
  12. Did you like your outline, notes or manuscript technique?

In addition, leave feedback for at least two students. Feedback should be specific and original

    2. Marissa I thought you did a very good on your speech even though you missed up a couple times you kept going and you should always do that no matter what. You need to improve on is not looking up when your talking and try to make eye contact with the crowd because that is something that you did lack, and maybe try to smile look more warming so people want to listen to your speech but overall good information.

    3. Daniel I could relate your speech not having a parent in the picture like my mother was not there and it's hard but it was hard at some moments you got through it and you could talk about it but I know I couldn't because I would be mad and probably even cry. I liked your speech though it brought me to believe that you can get through anything and that just because your one parent is not there you can still get through life.

  2. I think my speech was really good. I connected with a lot of people too. I was very passionate about what I was speaking about. Probably the reason why was because it was very personal to me. I made good eye contact and was very organized. I also had a good pace and a lot of people said that I connected with them a lot. Thank you guys a lot for listening!

    1. Hello fellow classmate. I enjoyed everything that you have said. I am glad that you were passionate about your topic, it really showed in your town, and with what you said. In the end, great job, and you have inspired me with what you said.

    2. Peter, it was nice to see you confident and organized. You knew exactly what you were doin and what you wanted to say. You delivered your speech with a lot of passion and a lot of sincerity. I loved your topic, and I love how you live out your own advice. Keep being a good speaker!

    3. Peter, your speech was very honest and real. You telling a personal story got the audience connected to you. Anyone could relate to your speech and that was what made it great.

  3. As much as I wished I could have made my speech on something other than track, I had a difficult time finding things that inspired me. As for the speech itself, I felt like I could have connected more with the audience, not only with my content but eye contact as well. I believe I could have expanded more on my topic, or at least made it a little more than track.

Peter: Your speech was excellent, I had an extremely hard time looking for things wrong with it. You connected well with the audience and placed new ideas into our heads. Well done Peter, keep it up!

Hailey: Although it was on the shorter end, I enjoyed your speech anyway. Your topic is quite applicable to our lives and it was very true as we seem to break each other down, rather than build each other up. Keep up the work homie

Alex Schiller: Old chap, you see your speech spoke to me deeply. For I too enjoy living my short life to the fullest. I quite love "doing it for the memories" as you and I can attest to in Anatomy class. The content was phenomenal, the eye contact was on fleek, and you looked beautiful in the polo and tie. Keep it up my good man.

  4. For this speech, I felt that I was not to bad. Although my speech was short, I think I put my point across. Which was my goal of the speech. Having fun with my speeches has always something I wanted to include, and I did that with Hugh Hefner. Overall, I think I did an ok job. There is always room for improvement.

  5. I loved this speech. It let me let loose with what's really on my heart. I felt great sharing and hopefully influencing the class on something that I'm very passionate about. I felt that I didn't mess up at all, which is weird. Overall this was by far my favorite speech.

    1. Great job Matt, your speech was fantastic, I really enjoyed it and all of the questions that you asked. You were very calm and enthusiastic at the same time, if that is even possible. I couldn’t remember anything that went wrong, so that is a good thing. Your eye contact was solid, and so was you speaking rate. In the end, your speech was enjoyable to listen to.

    2. Matthew, your speech was well done! I like the whole theme of being remembered for who you are instead of what you do. You really connected with the audience and got them involved in it. Overall, good job!

  6. Marissa: Your speech was well done. I liked how you threw in the story of how you helped out that old lady! That really emphasized you theme.
Liz: Your speech on following your dreams and perseverance was nice. I liked how you threw in some of those quotes to support your idea. You really need to speak up though. I could kind of hear you, but not so much. Just be confident in yourself and your speaking abilities, and you'll go far!

  8. I think my speech was below average it was well short on time and I didn't have anything prepared except 3 quotes walking into that speech so yeah i was not prepared at all but given that I think I did a pretty good job of making up all that stuff on the spot so overall I could have done much better but whats done is done

  9. I think my speech went alright. I tried hard to make my speech memorable and funny, but honestly it seemed a little forced and uncomfortable. There were some parts that didn't go as scripted on accident, and other parts that were made up on the fly intentionally. I think I could have focused more to get my speech across. I could have used a little more practice, but my eye contact and hand gestures were really good. I also think I did I pretty good job keeping the audience engaged. Overall, I think it went alright, but it could have gone better.

    1. Jon, i think that your speech proved some very good points, that motivation can be a very powerful thing. It was funny, but at the same time serious. You always have great eye contact and volume with your voice. Walking around and interacting with the audience was a great way to keep us involved. Great job bud.

  10. Honestly, I thought this was my best speech. I felt very prepared, even though we had some technical difficulties with the video, but it still went pretty smoothly. Memorizing my opening helped me maintain good eye contact. I talked kind of quickly, and that's why my speech was kind of short. My video helped with the time though. Overall, this was my favorite speech that i gave.

  11. I thought this was my best speech as well as my favorite one to do. I felt passionate, not too nervous, and felt I maintained pretty good eye contact consistently. I really took my time to practice and think this one through before I went, and I think that it showed!!

Peter: You had my favorite speech and I felt like it was really relatable to everyone. I was engaged the entire time and you had really great eye contact and quotes, also I really enjoyed your personal touch you added by sharing your personal story! Great job!

Matt: Character is a really important thing, and I think it showed it was something important to you by the way you spoke about it. You did a really nice Job with speaking loud and clear for the audience to hear you!

Jon: I really enjoyed your speech, you kept everyone engaged by having audience participation and asking questions, and I think you made everyone think a lot and ask themselves questions about what motivates them.

Hailey: Your speech was really nice, I loved how you ended too, you really made some good points and I know it can be hard, but if everyone makes the effort, we will go so much farther in life as a whole. Great eye contact too!!

Aaron: I liked your speech, I had a little bit of a hard time connecting, but you had good eye contact and good material.

PJ: You seemed a little unprepared, but I liked the quotes and how you tied it in, you had good eye contact, and overall nice job.

Brett: I was actually really impressed with your speech! You definitely surprised me and made me think a lot too, you had a good video and that was a great asset to your speech.

  14. I knew for my speech I was not that prepared and I was really nervous every time I try to make eye contact I always get nervous and look down I know if I practice more I would get better. But I always think that looking over it I will do good but that is not how you improve on your speeches but if I would have put more time and effort into it I would have done really good on my speech.

  16. Liz, good job on your speech. I liked how many examples of people you used to get your point across. I agree with you that no one should ever give on their dreams, no matter how many people believe in you, you should always believe in yourself.

  17. I thought my speech was okay. I was passionate about my topic and that showed in the content of my speech. I continue to struggle with eye contact and confidence, however my tone and speaking rates were at a good pace. My manuscript technique felt the most the most comfortable, but it did take away from my eye contact.
